Surviving
I’m feeling much better now.
My body is starting to adjust to crazy Christmas baking. Either that or I’m starting to lose my mind. I was singing along with the Christmas carols on the radio today…
The rest of this week should be OK. Mostly early mornings, but nothing too bad. Next week is when I start coming in at 9 or 10 PM and working all night. Those shifts are killer. At about 3 AM, you start to hate life and get annoyed at the slightest things. Fortunately, when the sun comes up everything becomes good again and you stop being tired. It’s funny how it works.
So everything should be fine as long as I get good sleep, drink my coffee, and nobody asks me what the difference between Cinnamon Burst and Cinnamon Burst Swirl is ever again!

OK, no questions about cinnamon anything. But why can't I have pumpkin bread with walnuts AND chocolate chips? Lead me through the equations again...;-)

Well, I guess you could have walnuts and chocolate chips in the same bread, but you'd have to make it yourself. :)
Now that your mind is gone (I don't give much credit to adjusting to a horrific schedule like that) we should hang out this weekend and kill some bunnies. I also got a new crazy pirate game that need breaking in.
"Well, ma'am, the Cinnamon Burst Swirl has extra mucus in it. Delicious, nutritious mucus... Where does the mucus come from, you ask? ... Amazingly, few people know that if you put babies on spikes and squeeze them, the most delightful sugary goodness comes out."
That explanation ought to be enough to horrify anyone. You probably wouldn't have to ever hear that question again...
mr. vee, sometimes i think youre my soulmate! babies on spikes totally produce a sugary mucus. but babies on spikes have lots of different uses...alas I cannot come to CO! I was so lookng forward to spending time with my sweetie and his fortuitously lovely friend, vee. so the solution is for both of you to come out to STL and entertain me with witty conversation and composition. i sorely miss the mountains...lovingly, bb
